Can I request a therapist to focus treatment on one area of my body?

Our massage therapists are trained to adapt to a wide variety of body types and sensitivities to pressure. We encourage clients to give the therapist feedback about the pressure during the session.

Are there contraindications for chair massage?

Yes. General medical contraindications include but are not limited to: uncontrolled hypertension, uncontrolled diabetes, fractures, malignancy, epilepsy. Certain medications, such as blood thinners, pain medications and heart medications as well as others. Make sure to inform your massage therapist of any acute or ongoing health conditions before the chair massage.

I'm pregnant. Can i still get a chair massage?

Absolutely. Massage can be very beneficial for women during pregnancy, however, be sure to let the massage therapist know you are pregnant so they can assure your safety and comfort. This is especially true if you are in the first trimester, when it may not be obvious that you are pregnant.

Who are your massage providers?

We only use California certified, insured and highly trained therapists at Body Restoration Massage! We carefully select each therapist to ensure that only the most professional and talented providers available are part of our team. Our therapists have impeccable credentials and are able to provide a wide range of massage techniques and modalities.

How many therapists will I need to provide service for my staff?

This will depend on the length of massages, the number of people signed up, and your company’s specific scheduling criteria. We can help design the perfect massage day/s for you when you call.

Are gratuities or tips expected?

Gratuities are not required however the therapists do greatly appreciate the extra bit of acknowledgment of a job well done!

What is your cancellation / refund policy?

No refunds will be provided for deposits or cancellations received less than 24 hours before a scheduled event. Cancellations received 24-48 hours before a scheduled appointment are eligible for a 50% refund.

How far in advance should we schedule with you?

This depends on the size and location of the event. For small events with one or two therapists, we request a minimal advance booking is required.  Generally 5-7 days gives us adequate time to schedule our providers. For larger events requiring more than two therapists, we request notice of 2 weeks in advance.

Do you offer event services other than chair massage?

Yes!  We can upon special request, provide you with massage therapists who are specially trained in reflexology, aromatherapy and even cupping. We  also can provide clothed table massage in conjunction with chair massage, or table massage on it’s own.
